DAS1700 High-Speed Recorder from B&K Precision

The DAS1700 High-Speed Recorder is designed with fast sampling rates, a large hard drive, and a 15.6-inch touchscreen display. It features three slots for measurement boards, allowing you to customise it for your specific application. You can choose any combination of four measurement boards to measure voltage, current, temperature, and strain. For capturing high-speed or transient signals, the DAS1700 can simultaneously acquire and record data from 36 channels at a sampling rate of 1 MSa/s, or from 6 channels directly to the hard drive. It includes a 500 GB solid-state hard drive, providing ample storage for large amounts of data. The secondary file function enables you to record low and high-speed data in separate files, helping to reduce file sizes.

Options and Customisation

There are various options available to enhance the functionality of the DAS1700, including battery operation, IRIG and GPS synchronization, CAN and LIN inputs, as well as an extension unit that adds three additional measurement board slots. The user interface is intuitive, making setup easy, and you can view measurement results both graphically and numerically. Built-in analysis tools include a mathematical function editor and a dedicated power analysis mode for analysing single-phase and three-phase electrical networks.

To integrate with external systems and devices, the DAS1700 offers 16 logic (digital) inputs and three alarm outputs. Logic inputs can be recorded along with analogue data or used to start and stop recording. Alarms can be configured based on any combination of analogue or logic channels, enabling control of external devices or sending email notifications. You can connect to the DAS1700 remotely via the built-in LAN interface or an optional USB Wi-Fi connection. Software utilities are provided for remote control, file transfer, and viewing live data on a PC
