Description
20kW Programmable DC Power Supplies: The HPS Series from B&K Precision
The HPS Series Programmable DC Power Supplies deliver 20 kW of clean output power with high efficiency, all within a compact 3U form factor. These power supplies are ideal for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications, offering a wide output voltage range of up to 1500 V. Multiple units can be connected in parallel to achieve a total output power of 160 kW.
The power supplies feature a 5-inch touchscreen that provides intuitive controls and displays both set and measured values, including simulated internal resistance. A script function allows the power supply to execute a sequence of user-defined voltage and current steps based on specified commands.
Built-in protection features, such as under-voltage protection, safeguard both the power supply and the device under test. Furthermore, adjustable voltage and current slew rates, along with configurable output on/off timer functions, give users enhanced control over operations. LabVIEW™ drivers are included to facilitate instrument control from a PC, and output voltage and current can be logged directly onto a USB flash drive.
