Description

4ch mV – Tc Modbus RS-485 IO Module from Sielco Sistemi.

Connect Thermocouples or up to +/- 1V voltage signals. The Cold Junction compensation for thermocouples is performed internally. By means of a 16 bit converter, the device guarantees high accuracy and stable measurements versus time and temperature. Additionally, to ensure safety, two Watch-Dog timer alarms are provided.

The 2000 Vac isolation between input, power supply and serial line removes eventual ground-loop effects. This allows you to use this device in heavy environmental conditions.
The SS3016 is in compliance with the 89/336/EEC directive on the electromagnetic compatibility. The device is housed in a rough self-extinguishing plastic container. Furthermore, thanks to its thin profile of only 17.5mm, you can mount the SS3016 on a high density EN-50022 standard DIN rail.

The SS3016 is designed to work with the MODBUS RTU/ASCII protocol: standard protocol in field-bus. This allows you to directly interface the SS3000 series devices to most PLCs and SCADA applications available on the market.
