The MDL4U Series is a multi-channel, modular programmable electronic load system designed for versatility in testing various power sources. It includes seven different modules of programmable DC loads, with power ratings ranging from 200 W to 600 W. This gives users the flexibility to test power supplies such as multi-output DC power sources, batteries, fuel cells, and photovoltaic arrays.

The mainframe of the system features a controller and four open slots that can accommodate a combination of modules, allowing for a total power capacity of up to 2400 W (expandable to 4800 W with a mainframe extension). The high-performance electronic load modules can operate in four modes: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), and constant power (CW).

The modular design allows for multiple channels, and is ideal for testing several units, especially power supplies with multiple outputs. At the same time, all load modules can be configured to work independently.
